About Us

The iTrust enterprise was founded by Ms. Leslie Hayman in the pre-9/11 era of growing global trade, mobile computing, and capital markets that spawned 24-7 banking, credit expansion, and direct investing through public exchanges. To this, she brought her systems-savvy sense and decades of diverse international experiences in business, branding, management accounting, health, and media.

Leslie would say that iTrust is innovative because it was founded on fundamental Finance questions raised in 2000 by her father. He asked her opinion about a novel form of income equity product that appeared to confer rights of ownership much as people presumed they get in common equities but do not.

 

So, she began to research financial markets as an opportunity to look more closely at exchange operations and regulations and study standard methodologies, biases, and professional conventions used to define and value products, systems, and services, and shape perceptions and valuations. Leslie enjoyed programming a website to make a research tool for herself and, ultimately, for collaborators, investors, and business owners. And these systems and Leslie's findings from research provided the basis for iTrust innovations in evaluative systems and for launching a range of subscriber-based products and services (see Winning Team, below). ​

 

The business grew, and Leslie received requests for licensing and partnerships in iTrust-branded products, systems, and services. She was also pleased to regularly appear, as a guest, and independent analyst on the mid-day markets review program on Business News TV Network (BNN). 

 

By 2003, Leslie registered iTrust trademarks in Canada and other jurisdictions where the mark was licensed to business partners. She filed patent applications and developed her methodology over the next decade before taking the patent-pending methodology back into a proprietary status.

The iTrust analytic system observed how discounts on market values could be significant when financial policies and regulations constrained trade, corrupted the quality of data, information, or communications, and ignored the productive quality of people, businesses, investment instruments, and other technology, especially when analyzed outside of a realistic conditional context. Similar principles came into play in terms of public policy, market, and human regulation.

Decision and policy-makers at all levels face an ongoing question: Where to from here? How do we remedy growing challenges? Who do you intend to become, with and for whom?

The research on which Leslie founded iTrust, showed that true opportunity and potential for sustainable productivity, capital formation, innovation, and self-determination may be viewed as qualitative preconditions for financial growth. People of good intent and integrity with a willingness to explore alternative perspectives and conditions are necessary in the iTrust brand of advisory services for ethical enterprise, inclusive approaches to data, and fundamental analytical methods to discern basic and comparable values in absolute terms.
